Throughout the month of July, we partnered with University of Louisville’s Center for Family and Well Being to host a bilingual, mental health group for young adults in our community called “Mind Matters”!

Participants aged 18 through their early 30s got together, formed lasting friendships, shared stories and learned strategies to combat anxieties, stress, and more!

By the end of the session, they shared something they admired about one another— in terms of growth, openness, kindness, etc. They shared dinner, received gifts, certificates, tears, and can now apply tools they learned to their everyday lives!

We were honored the University of Louisville offered this program to our community members. Participants were disappointed that it was over! We’re hopeful that they will want to work with our community again with similar workshops. Thanks so much, again!
