HEALTH & WELLNESS
We promote and provide access to education and programs that support the health and wellbeing of our clients and their families. Our initiatives are designed to bridge resource gaps within our community.

Through partnerships, we have offered various programs such as
- Weekly fresh food market
- Community resource fairs
- Informational health chats and trainings. Our office serves as an access point for first aid, hygiene items, sexual health materials and health referrals.
Our weekly fresh food market at our Churchill Downs and Trackside Training Center locations are in partnership with Dare to Care Food Bank. This program allows our clients to select from a variety of fresh produce, meats, grains, and dairy products which supports community food security.
- Community resource fairs are a collaboration between our various partners that connects local organizations with our clientele.
- In the summer, our families have access to seedlings to build home gardens, food science workshops and more. Clients learn how to prepare nutritious meals with new recipes and utilizing locally grown products.
- Thanks to our generous partnerships and donors, these services are provided free of charge to clients.
